The film below is a single continuous take. It is not autoplaying and it is not a loop. Your scroll position drives the frame, so it runs forward when you scroll down, backward when you scroll up, and holds perfectly still when you stop.
Why this is on the site at all
Most studios show you a grid of screenshots. A screenshot cannot tell you whether the person who made it can hold sixty frames a second steady on a phone, keep a page readable while it moves, or make the whole thing degrade gracefully when someone has motion turned off in their settings. This page can.
Your own site almost certainly should not do this. It is here to show the ceiling, not to recommend it.

- One compressed video is seeked directly rather than loading thousands of numbered images, so the page stays light.
- Two encodes
- Phones get a smaller, shorter keyframe encode. Desktop gets the full resolution version.
- Reduced motion respected
- If your system asks for less motion, the story is still fully readable and no video is fetched at all.
- Text stays text
- Every word here is real HTML over the film, so it can be selected, searched and read by a screen reader.
